About the market

A Fort Wayne tradition since the 1840s

The YLNI Farmers Market is a producer-only market — every vendor personally makes or grows what they sell, and every vendor is local to Allen and surrounding counties. That's why we love it, and why you'll find us there.

Indiana's #1 Farmers Market Ranked the top farmers market in Indiana in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 by the American Farmland Trust — and Fort Wayne's Readers' Choice winner six years running.

It's held at the Historic Barr Street Market — the oldest public space in Fort Wayne, where the original market ran from the 1840s to the 1950s before YLNI revived it in 2005. Expect live music from local musicians, kids' activities, and a real slice of the community.
